CULTURAL RIGHTS MOVEMENT BOOK - OFFICIALLY RELEASED!

Greetings Everyone,

Today is the day that my new book, "The Cultural Rights Movement: Fulfilling the Promise of Civil Rights for African Americans" is released!! Early today, I received my complementary copies of the book and I am estactic, overjoyed and relieved!! This day is finally here and now it's hard to comprehend that it's really here.

Interestingly, I kind of knew that I was going to receive my books earlier than originally stated by publisher because I started to see more activity at different bookstore sites on the internet about my book. In fact, some bookstore internet sites said that they had already have the books and were selling them. Quite naturally, I thought to myself -- "how is this possible?" My publisher -- Praeger Publishers (www.greenwood.com) -- showed that the book was still not available. I therefore started to speculate and get a bit more excited.

Then I did a websearch on my book and found that it has already been quoted in a OPed column in a law and government newspaper article!! Wow... someone has already quoted a part of my book and I didn't even have my books yet!!

Overall, that felt very good and I have to say that I hope that this book causes ALL OF US TO THINK AND ASK ADDITIONAL QUESTIONS ABOUT NOT ONLY WHO WE ARE, BUT OF OUR GOVERNMENT & THE POLICIES THA T AFFECT OUR LIVES EVERYDAY!!

Quite frankly, I don't know how the general public and particularly the African American community will react to this book. I have given my heart and soul to this book and tried to present the facts that best way that I could! That's all I have to say for now.

I'm just glad that my books have arrived! I have not opened up the box yet with the books and may not for the entire weekend! Don't be afraid to SPEAK UP AND SPEAK OUT!
